I'm everywhere, though you can't see me,
I'm in the air, so of course you breathe in me,
I've been in you since you were born,
And over the years I've been many times torn,
But it helps me to grow,
Now what am I? Do you know?

Bacteria.
Bacteria is everywhere and you can't see it without a microscope. It's in the air and you breathe it in. It's in your body all the time. To grow it divides.
