Can you solve this riddle?

A whale walks into a bar with a tennis ball and a bag of shrimp. He sits in the corner of the bar and is holding the tennis ball in one hand and is crushing the bag of shrimp in his other hand. The bartender notices and is perplexed. 20 minutes later, the bartender looks at the whale and he is crushing the bag a little harder now, shrimp are slowly pouring out of the bag. Another 20 minutes later, the same scene is happening, except even more shrimp are piling out. After an hour, he is squeezing the bag so hard that shrimp are just flowing out of his bag. He is still just holding the tennis ball in his left hand. The whale leaves and the bartender goes after him, wondering what is going on. He asks the whale: "Why were you sitting in my bar with a bag of shrimp?" What did the whale say back?
