There are ten people. One wants to spread a message through them all. They want to do it in the shortest time possible. If the message takes one minute to pass on, what is the shortest time to spread the message through all ten people?

4 minutes.

When the first person tells another person, two people know the message. Then two people can tell two people at the same time, then four people know the message...
