Can you solve this riddle?

Some FBI agents are going to investigate a murder that happened at 3:00 this afternoon. They discovered a man had been shot in a car. The car was all locked up: the doors, windows, everything! the car was brand new. Apparantly, he had been shot while sleeping. The car was in perfect shape. No bullet holes on any part of the it. There was no gun found in the car. He was also alone. How did the man get shot?
